2018 GALA INVITATION AND INSERTS
DESIGN PROCESS
Passaic County CASA's annual Voices for Children Gala needed an invite that moved beyond the predictable flat card and still remained affordable to print and mail. It needed to be on-brand and create anticipation for the evening.
We decided to focus on a particular photograph of a young child, and to use him/her as the hero image on both the Save The Date and the Invitation. We found a complimentary photograph of a young girl for the back of the invitation. The design scheme focused on red-to-blue gradients using CASA's signature colors, and accents of string lights for visual interest.

SALVADOREAN DELI MENU
DESIGN PROCESS
A local restaurant was moving to a new location and wanted a modern new menu for their new space. I chose a stock photograph of a Salvadorean papusa as the menu's "hero image" and a contemporary spotted texture overlay.
My initial design used brown and black lettering, but the owner wanted to use the blue color in the Salvadorean flag, so I changed the font colors. He then wanted to add in the Salvadorean flags, so I added them as a graphic element to the front of the menu.
